This luxury one-bedroom apartment is conveniently located in the chic 8th arrondissement, nestled on a quiet, mostly residential street between the prestigious Champs-Elysées to the south and the tree-lined Boulevard Haussmann to the north. Parisian must-sees including the Grand and Petit Palais, the Arc de Triomphe, the Musée Jacquemart-André, and the Parc Monceau are all easily within walking distance. Stop by the Place de la Madeleine for macaroons at Ladurée on your way to Place Vendôme, renowned for its jewelers (Chaumet, Cartier, Boucheron, Harry Winston, etc.) or the rue du Faubourg St Honoré, home to haute couture shopping. In case you prefer to take the métro, the Miromesnil stop (lines 9 and 13) is just one block from the apartment and Line 1 stops (Champs-Elysées and FDR) are just five minutes away.

He is responsible for the tasteful renovations to the apartment, a pleasing combination of 18th century antiques with modern comfort and convenience. The 915 square feet apartment is on the third floor (French) of a building with elevator and security-controlled access.
Enter the apartment through the modern, off-white kitchen with steel and black detailing. Its ample, well-lit workspaces and the sleek cabinets, under-mount recessed lighting and glass backsplash give a spacious feel to the room. Its high-end appliances include double oven, five-plaque range with hood, dishwasher, microwave, large refrigerator with freezer, Nespresso coffee machine, toaster, blender and other essentials which will make any seasoned cook feel at home. A combination washer and dryer are located here as well. The window which provides natural light looks over the building’s cobblestoned courtyard lined with topiaries. The glass dining table which can seat up to six may be moved to the study on the right for a more formal dining experience if so desired.
The simple but stately study leads into the living room through an archway. Rich reds complement antiques pieces including wooden marble-top consoles with gilded detailing. Persian rugs, gilded mirrors and sconces, and original paintings and prints complement the period feel. The windows which look down onto the street below are framed by floor-long drapes. Classic architectural features include parquet floors and high ceilings decorated with patisserie-like molding. The full-size sofa bed can accommodate an additional 1-2 guests. Please note there is an extra charge for more than two guests, up to a maximum of four guests.
Amenities include a flat-screen TV with satellite cable and DVD player with video library. Music lovers will appreciate the stereo with CD player, iPod docking station and music library. High-speed Internet access and unlimited calls to domestic and international land lines are included.
Just off the living room is a full bathroom in sky blue and off-white tiles with a single vanity, tub with handheld shower and heated towel rack. Convenient for additional guests, it could easily serve as a second bathroom allowing a couple to have its own bathroom.
The master bedroom is located on the other side of the apartment for maximum privacy. The comfortable bed (63 x 75 inches; larger than a queen but smaller than a king) and luxurious linens ensure a good night’s rest. The calming blue room is decorated with 18th century period artwork in gilded frames, some antique as well as more contemporary wood furniture, and two tufted, armless green chairs. Like the kitchen, the double windows look over the charming courtyard. The bedroom has a cleverly conceived en-suite bath: The well-lit and mirrored marble-topped vanity is open to the bedroom. To the left of the vanity is a frosted glass door which opens into the tiled shower with overhead showerhead, hand-held showerhead and body jets which can be operated independently or together. To the right of the vanity is the door of the WC. A hair dryer and iron are available for guest use.
This owner politely declines to rent to smokers. Children are welcome. Small dogs may be considered at the apartment. Daily maid service and/or babysitting may be arranged on request.
