By renting an apartment on this discreet and self-contained island you will have an enchanting stay in the city. It is delightfully unspoiled and has a mixture of handsome 17Ith century architecture, modern boutiques, narrow streets and magnificent views from its tree-lined quays. Running lengthwise along the island is the main street, Rue Saint Louis en l’Ile. It boasts a Baroque church, refined boutiques, old-fashioned bistros and brasseries , lovely chocolate and food shops, a florist, bakeries, a wonderful cheese shop and many pretty salons de thé. Many of the most attractive sites Paris has to offer are located nearby. The Pompidou Centre , the Louvre Museum, the Tuileries Garden, Champs Elysées, the Sainte Chapelle, the Latin Quarter, the Bastille and Le Marais are all within walking distance and Notre Dame is just across the bridge, on Ile de la Cité.
This apartment is located on the 5th floor (accessed by stairs) of a building with door code entry. The windows offer a clear view and overlook a quiet courtyard.

The entrance hall opens directly into the dining-room furnished with a beautiful dining table for four people. You will be amazed by the Italia marble sink and faucet from the 17th century.
The living-room is separated from the dining-room by a wooden door made of three panels from the Vaux-le-Vicomte Castle ! These amazing panels as well as all the panels in the dining-room, living-room and the bedroom come from this sumptuous castle. The living-room features a couch, two armchairs, a flat screen TV that can be used with the DVD player only and a lovely built-in library. This room features two armoires with single beds. Therefore this room can also be used as a proper bedroom as you can use the dining-room as a living area.
From the dining-room, a small corridor leads to the bedroom on the opoposite side of the apartment. Note that in this corridor you will find a lovely earthenware washbasin, perfect to wash your hands if the bathroom is occupied. The bedroom is absolutely sumptuous. It features a queen size bed and a large wardrobe with shelves and hanging rails.
The bathroom is accessible from the entrance hall. It features a walk-in shower, a lovely earthenware washbasin and toilet.
